Founded by Hazel Akin and Billy Ray Moore, the Denver City Heritage Museum opened in 1984 in a former elementary school. Growing interest led to its relocation in 1991 and a new building in 2015 at 117 N. Ave B. Featuring a giant Quannah Parker Trail arrow, the museum is open Tuesday to Thursday, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
